Isn’t it amazing how four short years can have such an impact on your life?  My game-changer was at Auburn University.  There I gained a deeper love of football, met some of my dearest friends, and discovered the deliciousness of Momma G’s nachos, among other things.  I want to write about Auburn first because this is the place where I really began the transition from being a teenager to an adult.  My husband lovingly nicknamed Auburn “Magical Aubie Land” after his first trip with me to Auburn in the fall of 2011.  I promise I will explain this name in a later post.  If you have no reason to go, you have likely never been to this small college town.  It is in Alabama—yes Alabama, not Georgia—and not too far from Atlanta or Birmingham.  If you are ever in either of those cities or somewhere else close I encourage you to make the drive to Auburn…you won’t regret it.
